Today was Sean's first day of work as a full-time teacher and head basketball coach. It has been a long time waiting for him...remember this post? Well, he did that for two years. Talk about patience and persistence. And when the local paper did a story on his ascension as head basketball coach and new teacher in the district, I could hardly contain the immensity of my pride.
It is an exciting moment when you recognize the beginning of something...the invisible yet powerful starting line. I had that realization on my first day of work in my new job and Sean has been feeling that same glorious infinince all week. It is refreshing, empowering and awfully special.
