I spent the past weekend with some of my girlfriends from graduate school in Des Moines.
We spent much of the weekend just grinning at each other, not quite realizing how much we've missed one another since graduation.
We went to the Des Moines Farmers Market on Saturday morning after a night out on Thursday. While we were able to see much of the market, it began to rain so we naturally went to the best refuge we could find...the mall. With tired legs and bags in hand, we finished off the weekend with a home cooked meal (with our Farmer's Market finds), chocolate wine, and The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
It was a glorious weekend and a tease for our next weekend's adventures to Milwaukee!!
