It's been pouring outside.
I'm talking cats and dogs people. It's amazing I was able to concentrate in class today with all that barking and meowing going on outside. I managed to sneak in between classes with minimal rain damage to my hair, but the walk home was quite a different story. My umbrella didn't shield me from the mist lingering in the air and, well, we've already established what happens to my do during that kind of weather in this post.
As if those cats and dogs weren't enough, all the worms came up and speckled the side walks. I found myself bumping into people as I was stepping over and around those wiggly little guys.
Reminded me of middle school track practice when a girl would eat the worms off the track after a rain storm. At the time I thought it was funny. Now, it makes me gag.
I also saw these little guys!
Mind you, I don't live near a pond. Or a farm. So to see duckies in town was a surprise.
I just loved them.
Boyfriend and I followed them around until we found ourselves a few doors down lurking around the neighbors lawn quacking and flapping out wings.
Getting a visual?
