You would have thought our goal on day two of our trip was to survey all means of transportation around the city. We road the ‘L’, grabbed a couple taxi rides (which made me feel SO Carrie Bradshaw), took a ride on the city bus, not to to mention all the walking we did.
But alas, our mission was not to sample the public transit, but to see as much of Chicago as possible. And that we did! We ate lunch on Michigan Avenue, viewed the famous Bean, caught the end of a YoYo tournament, frolicked on Navy Pier with our Italian Ice and attended Wicker Park Fest which offered more creative jewelry and scarves than should be allowed in one place for a girl on a budget.
I had so. much. fun.
