Awkward & Awesome

Awkward:

-Realizing I've said "what" three times and still have no idea what Boyfriend said. So I just smile, nod and agree. That may get me in trouble later...

- Buying Midol at the gas station and the cashier asks, "Is this for your bloating, cramps or irritability?" I answered "cramps" which made it all the more awkward. And the cashier... was a boy.

-The glee club rehearsal that took place late last night. At the bar. In full volume. 

-Hiccuping Lindsey walking across campus with the young man  ahead of her looking back every time she yipped. He was so annoyed but I didn't have any water to drink or the energy to do a handstand or someone to scare me (although the girl wearing the flesh colored shirt sure threw me for a loop) so I just let the hiccups run their course without any remedies. Hey dude, they are hiccups not a suggestive whistle. 

Awesome:
-Boyfriend folding my laundry! He usually has a weird thing about folding women's clothes. Something about all the straps and ties and hidden trap doors.
-My widdle baby brudder planning his first college visit! While I'm sad it isn't my school, I am so excited he is starting on this journey and even more thrilled that he comes to me for advice about higher education. It's like he thinks I getting my master's in it or something...
-A significant other who cleans a significant amount. Like everyday. You'd think we have a maid.
-Jacket weather! We are sitting at a cool 60 degrees and I couldn't be happier. Cardigans, scarves and blazers are my closet staples.
