You all may think you've got the best men in your life, but I am here to tell you straight up that I do.
They are the car fixers, taxi drivers, flight bookers, break-down stoppers, support givers, technology explainers and quick call men that I would be lost without.
My dad gets weekly calls regarding questions about money or taxes or cars or computers or whateveriscurrentlymakinglindseyslifeseemcompletelyunbareable- and he calmly and rationally walks me through the solution step-by-step.
Boyfriend simply gets the brunt of all my Lindsey-ness and takes the frustrating and annoying in with all the good and happy. He comes to my rescue at the drop of a hat and some how saves me even when I don't realize I needed it. He goes out of his way (literally, sometimes driving an extra 20 miles) to give me a ride in extreme cold, meet me for lunch or help me fix something. I am truly grateful.
And topping off these wonderful manly-men is my step-dad, who jumps online whenever I say I have a break in my schedule to visit. He will crunch the numbers, find the perfect airfare, and get me down to see him and the rest of my dearly missed family. He took in an entire crew when he married my mother and has been an outstanding and much loved addition.
I couldn't be more grateful to have this support system.
