So I had something completely different in mind to babble about today, but after seeing this pic, I knew I needed to switch it up.
Notice that clenched fist in the picture?
That is actually genetic.
Ok, I don't actually know it is genetic, but I have pretty good reason to believe the "naturally comfortable clenched fist" gene runs through my veins.
Here's my case:
My mom naturally sleeps with her fist clenched.
My sister and I both sleep with our fists clenched (actually with our thumb jammed between our middle and ring finger). We also naturally form a fist when we are taking pictures (obviously) and while we are watching movies.
AND my niece, at 4 months old, always has her little hands tightly in fists.
All the females in my family do it!
I'd be interested to see if my grandma and aunts do this as well. I'll ask and get back to you!
I like to think we do it because we are strong, independent, mighty women. Sorta like girl power.
Come on, you remember the Spice Girls. If you wanna be my lova...
Yes, just like girl power. But a little less risque and bit more classy.
That doesn't mean you aren't all these things just because you don't clench your fists though.
You probably have one of those cool hitch hikers thumbs or can make a clover out of your tongue.
I'm not that cool.

That's so cool! Most interesting fun fact of my day! Wonder if your Grandmothers did that too!
I've never really thought about it, but I do the same thing. I am also a fist clincher. I wonder if the rest of my family does this. I am definitely going to notice now.
