Today can be recapped in one word: reading.

Spent all day reading the material for my classes tomorrow. You know how in the beginning of the semester, you don't know quite where to cut corners yet? That is where I am right now. So, I just have to do it all until I figure it out. Give me a prayer that it'll happen sooner than later. Thanks guys.

But as I was beginning to hit a lull in my reading motivation this morning, I perked myself back up by saying,

"Linds, you are trying your hardest and putting your best foot forward. Most of your classmates are just going to skim through the material but not you! You are reading every word and taking notes. Way to go!"

Then, I had a vision of people chanting my name like in the movie "Rudy." 

Boyfriend made me watch it last weekend- I fell in love with it. I don't know if it is because I'm just a little one like Rudy, or if it is because I am always cheering for the underdog, but I am uber in love with this flick.I even cried. Twice.

So, anyway. I had a little day dream about my professors giving me high fives and all the other students commending all the effort I put into my studies. There may have been some fist pumping in there too. It was a nice little trip in la la land but the next thing I knew, I was back in my room with mounds of work staring at me. 

But guess who tackled that work? 

Yeah, that's right. I'll be chanting the rest of the semester.
