Yes, I'm still alive.

Blog friends, I'm sorry I have been MIA the last few days. I went to Grandma's for Christmas and was without Internet. Which was actually very refreshing, but left me unable to update the world through my blog. I hope you all weren't too worried... ;)
So, here are some pictures to capture what I've been up to since I last posted from Boyfriend's family Christmas.

The first picture is my dear Mother and Aunt doing what they do best- cooking! Every gathering is an opportunity to feast and drink, and no tummy goes without. You'll be happy to know that Boyfriend passed the family holiday with flying colors. They adored him just as much as he enjoyed my family. And, he was sent home with cookies and brownies, which doesn't happen unless you are well liked.

Then you have my baby brother and the snowman he built. This was acutally 1 of 4 snowmen he built over the course of the week. By the way, he is 15 years old. But in his defense, he does live in Florida and doesn't get snow. Then again, I don't build 4 sand castles when I visit him...
You also get a shot of my grandpas mounted deer. This thing has been in the family forever and is always shown off to guests. Boyfriend got the "Big Bucks Club" story from my Gramps and also was shown the many mounted fish. We are taking names for the deer. So comment if you have any great ideas!

The little cross that says 'Annie' on it is such a sad story. So if you are at all affected by the death of animals or cried at the end of 'Marley and Me,' you may want to grab tissues now.
Annie was my Aunt's cat. The Aunt you see in picture #1. Annie was put to sleep recently at 21 years old, which is like 150 in cat years. As Annie grew older, she started losing oils in her long hair, she couldn't make it to the litter, and began really struggling with her health. But she was the happiest cat and loved like you wouldn't believe. After having a stroke, it was time to let her go. My Aunt and my cousin were with her at the vet and both cried. Annie was given back to them to bury and my precious Grandpa hand-made a cross for her to be buried in his yard. (insert tears here)

Then you have pictures of me and my brother playing this ridiculous game called Croakano which my Grandpa used to play with his Grandpa when he was little. It is sort of like finger pool in a way.I am uber pathetic at this game. As you may also see, turns out I bite my lip when I concentrate. I never noticed this but apparently, it helps me focus- and manage to look completely unattractive.

And finally, this is the new camera that will now allow me to produce some really nice pictures for you all to view! I hope you are excited as I am. Merry Christmas to me and you!!

I promise to never go this long again without updating you all.
