Today marks a full year since I started dating this wonderful man.

I am so pleased to have such a caring, supportive, sensitive and passionate person who loves me unconditionally (and trust me, there are moments that I make it difficult). Sometimes I think he knows my thoughts even before I think them and sometimes, that drives me up the wall. But I really wouldn't have it any other way.

In honor of being together for 12 months, below are 12 random things I love most about boyfriend:

• His ability to coach and inspire young men.
• He always kisses me before he leaves.
• Dimples.
• Every time I lean forward in the car or in bed, he rubs my back.
• He sings "Mustang Sally" at karaoke bars.
• His half smile.
• He doesn't get weirded out when I complain about cramps and even offers to get me medicine.
• He will wink at me across the room, just so I know he hasn't forgotten me.
• He drops me off close to the door when we have to park far away.
• He pinky swears.
• His impersonations of Will Smith from the Fresh Prince.
• He makes me feel beautiful.
