Have you totally given up on me with those awkwards and awesomes?
Hope not!
Awkward:
-The "that's no surprise" reaction I got from yesterday's post. People totally expect me to crash, tumble and fall.
-The empty icebreaker mints tin in my office. I got them yesterday...and I've only worked a few hours. Mints equal candy in my book.
-The apple piece I've had in my teeth all morning that no one has told me about. I may just give up fruits and veggies for this reason. No one gets a big old chunk of potato chips covering their big tooth, right?
-Spilling pasta sauce right in the area where no red stain should ever be and having it pointed out to me by Boyfriend.
Awesome:
-Boyfriends full time sub-position in the school district where we both coach! Today was his first day. Oh, how I wish I could have snapped a photo of him in his teacher pants. Those little 7th grade girls just may develop crushes if he continues to look so precious.
-Waking up to the windows shut and the blinds closed. I told Boyfriend I could not sleep past 8:00 because we've had the windows and blinds open at night to let in the cool air, which also lets in light and noise in the morning (homeboy won't let me turn on the AC.) But this morning he closed them and turned the fan on facing me so I could sleep in cool, dark peace. Such a thoughtful man.
-My Graduate Assistantship. I am loving the work I am doing and the impact I feel I'm already making. The challenges are pushing me to places I've never been. It's amazing to feel such responsibility but yet such passion.
-Receiving a package from mommy with, among other things, mixing bowls! No more mixing up brownies in a pot! alleluia!
