Golfing and Gambling

I surprised Boyfriend with a trip to a fancy shmancy casino for a round on the links and some black jack.

This little getaway is what I like to call a slam dunk. 

Boyfriend had a great round of golf and shot one of his best scores. I'd like to tell you that he had some stiff competition, but I really struggled on this course. Never the less, we had a great day on a beautiful course!

Then we got all cleaned up for a little dinner in a restaurant connected to the casino. Boyfriend had a big plate of mashed potatoes, pizza and shrimp. Quite the combination but a perfect meal for the birthday boy!

And of course we had dessert!

Now I'm not much of a gambling gal so I took my $10 to the nearest machine with a cute animal on it. I debated between the Nemo looking fish slots and the one with a silly goose displayed. After finally settling with the goose (simply because it was furthest away from anyone smoking), I played almost a full dollar when...

I won $100 smackers! 

A few victory dance moves later and a fist pump, I took my voucher to get it redeemed and spent the rest of the night sipping on free Diet Coke.
