Peacock

My dad and brother sure know how to entertain a girl.

They took me to this little county park where there are flocks of peacocks. (Do peacocks travel in flocks? Sounds good right? We'll go with it..)

I have never seen  these beautiful creatures in person and, please believe me, they are more amazing than in any pictures you've seen. Including these. The vibrant blue of their bodies is amazing...I'm searching for a dress in that color pronto. 

Did you know the males are the ones with the beautiful tails and the little ladies are actually called peahens, not peacocks. And they make this loud screaming noise for their mating call. I like to believe they were calling out in praise to me for having clean hair...it's so easy to forget to shower on vacation.
