Dear Sister,

We had an argument.
The first one since I was maybe 13. That one was probably over the remote control or who was going to dust versus who was going to vacuum to complete our weekly chore. Or maybe even over that great pink tank of yours I was so crazy about and often weaseled out of your closet.  You know the one.
I huffed and puffed. And cried. And was extremely dramatic. I don't feel so bad because you also did the blubbering, angry cry that left us both unable to talk on the phone. Then I hung up on you. (seriously, way too dramatic). We both called Dad, but I'm the one who got him on the phone (nanny nanny boo boo).
But you talked to Mom. Then we flip-flopped parental advocates.
They were so helpful without being all that helpful. It's okay, they are kinda outta practice mediating our little tiffs. Plus, we are adults now...or something like that.

You haven't called.
I haven't called.
And I'm left unable to think about anything else.

I love you more than anything. You are and always will be my sister. Nothing is going to change that. (sorry toots, you are stuck with me.)
I'm sorry I'm so disappointed.
But that doesn't change how much I love and care about you.
Can we stop the cold shoulder?
