Maybe...there are no accidents.

Such a long day today.
Full of great interactions, a wealth of knowledge, amazing opportunities and some tough competition.
I'm not worried though. I did the best I could do in every interview, which was the ultimate goal.
(Of course it would be nice to actually be offered something.)
I was just reminded today as I was sitting with professionals discussing my personal journey through college, my work experiences and my individual philosophies on life, that I have had the opportunities of a lifetime. And somehow, without my knowledge or planning, everything has led to this.
And somehow, even the most unrelated decisions in my life have become relevant to this job.
Maybe, there are no accidents.
Actually, today, I will say that indeed, there are no accidents.
Every experience I have had has lead up to or prepared me for where I am right now.
Right now.
It's a bit overwhelming when you think about it.
I'm suddenly having flashes of the new Matt Damon flick, "The Adjustment Bureau." To clarify, I'm not talking about anything like that.
Just that, the big man upstairs is truly, truly a miracle worker.
And His plan is perfect.

Sentimental, I know. But I'm just really satisfied with where I am in my life right now.
And this feeling totally rocks.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.

You're right - there are no accidents. God is in control of everything & He has amazing plans for you! That gets me excited to know that God has amazing plans for me. :)
