Awkward and Awesome Thursday

Sydney at The Daybook is encouraging the blogging community to participate in her Awkward & Awesome Thursday posts.

I decided that I have PLENTY of awesome and awkwardness in my life. So, I'm sharing!

AWKWARD:
-Trying to walk and talk to a friend, when you are going to different buildings.
-The girl who held open the bathroom stall for me. Not the door to the ladies room, the actual stall. I think I said "Thanks!" as well. Double awkward.
-Trying to get the hair out of my face with my mittens on, creating even more static and thus, making the problem worse.
-My professors leopard bra that could be seen through her cream turtle neck. Get it girl.
-My entire journalism class that is focusing on environmental topics. We are communications majors people, not earth science.
-Boyfriend and I telling a series of "knock-knock" joke before bed last night.
-My school bag strap breaking while walking in between classes. Papers and pencils everywhere.
-Some peoples reaction to my blog. "Oh that's interesting." I enjoy it, ok? Chill.
-The guy that was pumping his breaks in rhythm to Taylor Swift. By his precise beats, I deduced we were listening to the same station.
-The woman who asked me when Boyfriend's and my wedding date is. He is called "Boyfriend" for a reason. Give us time lady. We've got our whole lives ahead of us!

AWESOME:
-Boyfriend giving an amazing speech at the boys Hudson Basketball Banquet last night and receiving a gajillion handshakes and praises from the parents.
-Boyfriend also getting so choked up in his speech that one of his players had to finish it. (some of you may need to categorize this as "awkward.")
-Being reminded how fabulous Boyfriend is and feeling very proud to be his girl.
-My friend's Service Learning Project that helps donate children's books to elementary schools. I've got it on my calendar to go to the bookstore and purchase a little somethin-somethin for those kiddies.
-All the graduate assistantship interviews I got! Monday will bring 8 separate interviews but a great chance that I can get some funding for grad school.
- Making our first 4-Queens trip of the year. For you non- Cedar Falls residents, it's the best, THE BEST ice cream joint in the area.
-My new boots have a zipper. So when I get an ankle itch, I can bypass the whole pencil scratching and just unzip these bad boys to handle the situation.
-Naps scheduled in and written in my planner.
