Awkward and Awesome Thursday! Birthday Edition!

Awkward:

-Seeing people you kinda sorta know on campus who use "Happy Birthday" as a conversation starter, but then can't go anywhere with the convo. Typically, I then start talking about the weather. Soooo awkward.

-Boyfriend wide awake this morning at 6:45 trying to be the first to tell me "Happy Birthday." I could only give him a few grunts in reply. Next year, my birthday isn't starting until after 8:00 AM.

-Expecting someone to wish you "Happy Birthday" and then they don't. So you are left smiling like a cheeseball for no reason. Am I alone on this one? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

-Boyfriend singing "Happy Birthday" to me every time he calls. Sweet, but unnecessary.

Awesome:

-It's-a my birthday!!

-Using the birthday card for everything. "I don't want to, it's my birthday."

-Lots-o-lots of Facebook comments wishing me a great day!

-The people who take the time to write something really really sweet on Facebook instead of something typical.

-People who text me Happy Birthday! (Libbe-pie, you were the first! You are such a good friend.)

-Not planning anything, but still having some celebration.

-This video. Ugh, what else does a girl need for her birthday?

-Last year, Boyfriend sang to me on my birthday...seriously doubt he can top this.
